A Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available in Schnecksville, PA, supporting students from kindergarten through 12th grade with a caseload spanning Carbon and Lehigh Counties. This role involves travel between school locations within the area, providing diverse and dynamic professional experiences in educational settings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language assessments for students K-12.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on student needs.
- Collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals to support student communication development.
- Maintain detailed documentation and progress reports.
- Participate in meetings and contribute to student IEP development.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid PA SLP License required.
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred.
- Experience working within school-based settings is highly desirable.
- Ability to manage a caseload effectively and adapt to various school environments.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with educational staff and families.
Schedule and Assignment Details:
- Full-time schedule averaging 35 hours per week.
- Assignment begins ASAP and extends tentatively through the 2026-27 school year, with early intervention opportunities year-round.
