A rewarding opportunity is available for a Speech Language Pathologist to provide essential services to students in a school setting near Schnecksville, PA, serving areas around Carbon County and Lehigh County. This position is contract-based and offers a meaningful way to impact K-12 students communication development.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language therapy to a diverse caseload of students from kindergarten through 12th grade.
- Collaborate with educators and families to assess, plan, and implement individualized therapy plans.
- Monitor student progress and adjust treatment as necessary to support academic and social success.
- Maintain thorough documentation and comply with state and federal regulations.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to positive educational outcomes.
Qualifications:
- Valid Pennsylvania Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) License.
- Certifications: SLP, CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence), and School SLP credentials.
- Experience working in school environments preferred.
- Strong interpersonal skills to engage effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development.
Position Details:
- Job Type: Schools (Contract)
- Schedule: 35 hours per week
- Assignment Dates: Starting ASAP through the 2026-27 school year (tentative), with the possibility of year-round Early Intervention services.
