Job Description

A contract-based Speech-Language Pathologist position is available starting in December, covering a 12-week maternity leave. Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Current Texas SLP license required
  • CCC-SLP, CFY, or eligibility to supervise an SLPA in school settings preferred
  • Previous experience working with students in schools or pediatric settings highly valued
  • Ability to assess, diagnose, and create effective treatment plans for diverse communication needs
  • Strong collaboration, supervision, and communication skills

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct speech-language therapy services to students, individually and in groups
  • Supervise and mentor an SLPA, ensuring quality and consistency in therapy delivery
  • Conduct evaluations and update IEPs with comprehensive, data-driven goals
  • Work in partnership with teachers, parents, and interdisciplinary staff to support student progress
  • Maintain accurate documentation of assessments, therapy sessions, and student progress
  • Participate in team meetings, provide insights, and contribute to positive educational outcomes
