Step into a dynamic role supporting PreK5th grade students at a welcoming elementary school for the 20262027 academic year. This on-site opportunity is ideal for Speech Language Pathologists (CCC), whether bilingual or monolingual, and is open to experienced clinicians or those completing their Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY); district supervision is provided for CFYs. With a dedicated caseload of approximately 51 students and no SLPA support, your expertise in fostering communication skills will be crucial in helping young learners thrive throughout the school year.

Key Qualifications:

• Valid Texas Speech-Language Pathologist license (obtained through the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation)
• ASHA Certification (if applicable, with hours logged)
• Experience or strong interest in working within a school environment
• Adept verbal and written communication skills
• Proven ability in team collaboration and effective time management
• Working knowledge of behavior support strategies
• References that speak to recent school-based or pediatric experience

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct and indirect speech-language therapy to students in grades PreK5
• Develop, implement, and update IEP goals in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
• Employ creative interventions tailored to diverse learning needs
• Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and assessments
• Participate actively in team meetings and case consultations
• Deliver engaging support in an inclusive and supportive environment
