Job Description

A K-12 school in the San Antonio, TX area is seeking a qualified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a contract position during the current school year. This role requires a Texas SLP license and involves working full-time, 37.5 hours per week, across five days.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide speech and language therapy services to students from kindergarten through 12th grade
  • Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student communication goals
  • Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with school and state requirements
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to overall student success strategies

Qualifications:

  • Valid Texas Speech-Language Pathologist license
  • Experience working with school-aged children across a range of communication disorders
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage students and collaborate with school staff
  • Knowledge of federal and state regulations regarding special education and therapy services in schools
