A contract position is available for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to provide coverage in an elementary school setting serving PreK through 4th-grade students. This role offers an opportunity to deliver targeted speech and language services within a supportive educational environment during a leave assignment from February 2026 through April 30, 2026.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy to a caseload of elementary students (PreK-4th grade) at one school location.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on student needs.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to support student communication goals.
- Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with school policies and regulatory guidelines.
- Participate in team meetings and professional development activities.
Qualifications:
- Holds a valid Texas SLP CCC, Texas SLP Clinical Fellowship (CF) License, or Texas SLPA License.
- Experience working in a school setting, preferably with elementary-aged children.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Dedicated to providing high-quality services tailored to pediatric populations.
- Ability to work approximately 20 hours per week during the contract period.
