Job Description

A rewarding opportunity is available for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to provide essential support within school settings. This role involves working directly with students to assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders, helping to improve their learning and social interaction skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct speech and language evaluations and develop tailored therapy plans.
  • Implement individualized treatment sessions with students.
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student progress.
  • Maintain accurate records of student assessments, therapy sessions, and progress reports.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to individualized education program (IEP) development.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Current state licensure or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
  • Experience working in educational settings preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal skills for effective communication with students, families, and staff.
  • Flexibility and willingness to travel to multiple school locations as required.

  • Position based in Schenectady, NY, with travel between schools.
