Job Description

Step into an impactful role as a Speech-Language Pathologist (CCC-SLP) supporting students for the 20262027 academic year. This full-time contract opportunity offers a blend of on-site (up to 4 days in-person) and off-site flexibility (1 day for administrative tasks), allowing you to focus on both high-quality service delivery and critical paperwork. The assignment spans September 8, 2026, through June 17, 2027, in a supportive school community near Scappoose, OR.

In this role, you will:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations, assessments, and manage IEPs for students.
  • Deliver direct therapy services at 12 school campuses.
  • Oversee and mentor an on-site Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA).
  • Participate actively in multidisciplinary team meetings and maintain strong communication with educators and families.
  • Fulfill indirect service duties, such as documentation and planning, during scheduled paid prep and meeting time.

Desired skills and qualifications include:

  • Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP).
  • Active Oregon State SLP license (or the ability to obtain one before the assignment begins).
  • Strong school-based and pediatric experience preferred.
  • Background check and fingerprinting must be completed prior to the start date.
  • Must be available on-site at least four days per week.
  • Supervision experience with SLPAs is highly valued.
  • Please note: This assignment does not permit Clinical Fellows (CFs) due to supervision requirements.
