Key Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid SLP license in the state
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Previous experience in a school setting preferred
- Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to adapt strategies as needed for diverse learners
- Commitment to ethical practice and ongoing professional growth
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive speech and language assessments for students
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Collaborate with educators, families, and other specialists to support student success
- Maintain accurate documentation for evaluations, progress, and compliance
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to goal setting
- Apply evidence-based techniques and support inclusive classroom practices
- Advocate for students needs and provide expertise to the broader school community
