A School Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available in Savannah, GA, offering the opportunity to support K-12 students in a dynamic educational setting. This contract role involves working five days per week, totaling 37.5 hours, with a focus on assessing, diagnosing, and treating speech, language, and communication disorders among school-aged children.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language evaluations to identify communication challenges in K-12 students
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with educational goals
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress
- Maintain detailed records of therapy sessions and student outcomes
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary approaches to student success
Qualifications:
- Valid Georgia SLP license is required
- Certification of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) preferred
