Job Description
A full-time Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed for a school setting in Saugerties, NY. This contract position involves working with students aged 6-12, providing essential therapy services during the school week.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders for children in the specified age group.
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress.
- Provide documentation and progress reports as required by school policies.
- Utilize teletherapy methods as needed to ensure continuity of care.
Qualifications:
- Valid New York SLP certification required.
- Skills in pediatric speech-language pathology, including experience with school-aged children (6-12).
- Familiarity with teletherapy is a plus.
- Certified Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) completion preferred.
- Experience working within healthcare and educational environments.
Hours and Schedule:
- Full-time role, 5 days per week.
