Step into an impactful opportunity supporting K-12 students as a Speech-Language Pathologist in a contract role for the upcoming school year. Multiple positions are available to work with students across several schools, providing vital intervention and support services. The setting is dynamic, with flexibility to engage with diverse caseloads and collaborate across different locations within the district.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid California SLP License or CTC certification.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP).
- Prior experience working in school settings is essential.
- Expertise with pediatric populations and familiarity with school-based SLP responsibilities.
- Ability to travel between assigned schools as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive speech and language therapy to K-12 students across multiple school locations in Ramona, CA.
- Perform screenings, evaluations, and develop individualized treatment plans according to IEP requirements.
- Maintain detailed records, progress notes, and necessary documentation in compliance with district guidelines.
- Collaborate with educators, families, and district professionals for student success.
- Participate in IEP meetings, offering professional input and progress reports.
- Manage a caseload assigned by the district, working with children with a variety of communication needs.
