Job Description

A rewarding opportunity is available for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to provide exceptional services in an elementary school setting. This contract position offers the chance to work within a supportive educational environment in Santa Rosa, CA, during the current school year (CSY).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct speech and language assessments and develop individualized treatment plans tailored to student needs
  • Deliver direct therapy services to students with speech, language, and communication disorders
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student progress
  • Maintain accurate documentation and comply with school policies and state regulations
  • Utilize teletherapy methods as needed to ensure continuity of services

Desired Qualifications and Experience:

  • Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist with Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred
  • Experience in pediatric speech-language pathology, especially within school settings
  • Familiarity with teletherapy platforms and procedures is advantageous
  • Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates will be considered
  • Speech-Language Pathology Assistants with relevant healthcare or school experience are encouraged to apply
  • Strong communication, organizational, and teamwork skills
