Your primary focus will be providing high-quality speech and language services to a diverse student population across several school sites. Ideal candidates bring experience in school-based settings, a strong foundation in pediatric speech therapy, and a commitment to fostering student success.
Desired Qualifications:
- Active California SLP license or CA CTC credential (required)
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred; Clinical Fellows (CFY) also encouraged to apply
- Prior experience with pediatric populations, especially in educational or healthcare environments
- Proficiency in conducting assessments, developing IEP goals, and delivering direct and consultative services
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy to K-12 students at multiple campuses within the region
- Conduct screenings, assessments, and evaluations to determine students needs
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and contribute to multidisciplinary meetings
- Collaborate with families, teachers, and other school staff to optimize student outcomes
- Maintain thorough documentation and ensure compliance with all state and federal requirements
