Job Description

Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students from Pre K through 12th grade in a dynamic educational setting. This on-site role is ideal for an enthusiastic Speech-Language Pathologist who brings a passion for pediatric care and values collaboration with a diverse school community. This position is part-time, covering a maternity leave from October through mid-December 2025, with a flexible schedule of 21 hours per week across three days.

Your clinical expertise will be instrumental in providing essential speech and language services, from direct interventions and indirect support to participating in IEP meetings and conducting evaluations. Youll engage with a varied caseload, supporting students with a wide spectrum of disabilities and collaborating closely with educators and families to foster communication success.

Key Qualifications:

  • Valid California SLP license or CA CTC is required
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
  • Experience in educational or pediatric settings highly desirable
  • Familiarity with a range of disabilities and individualized instruction
  • Comfort navigating IEPs, direct and indirect therapy, and collaborative team meetings
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Flexibility and enthusiasm for working with multiple age groups

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide speech and language therapy to students from Pre K to 12th grade
  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
  • Stay actively involved in IEP meetings and progress monitoring
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation
  • Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to maximize student outcomes
