Job Description
Step into an impactful contract position supporting students as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC) or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) for the fall term. This school-based opportunity starts August 2026 and runs through November or December, covering a leave and serving a caseload of approximately 45 students. Youll work Monday through Friday, 30 hours each week, at a supportive campus environment with SLPA team members to collaborate with.
Key Qualifications:
- Current California licensure or credential as an SLP-CCC or SLPA
- Experience within educational settings, ideally with school-age children
- Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to create and implement IEP goals and therapy plans
- Team-oriented, flexible, and comfortable working alongside other SLPs or SLPAs
Responsibilities:
- Provide assessments, develop and implement treatment plans, and deliver direct therapy to students
- Collaborate with educators, families, and fellow therapy staff to support speech and language development
- Maintain accurate student records, progress notes, and IEP documentation
- Offer support and guidance to SLPA staff, as needed
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to effective intervention planning
