Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship
- Valid state licensure, or ability to obtain licensure if relocating
- Previous experience in schools preferred, but motivated new graduates are encouraged to apply
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Skilled in assessments, creating individualized plans, and delivering direct therapy
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments of students with communication disorders
- Develop and implement individualized education program (IEP) goals and treatment plans that address speech, language, and communication needs
- Deliver direct therapy services in both group and individual settings
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student progress
- Maintain detailed documentation of student progress and provide regular updates to educational teams
- Engage in IEP meetings and contribute valuable insights to multidisciplinary teams
- Stay up-to-date with best practices and continuing education in the SLP field
