Make a real impact by supporting students communication and learning at several public schools in the greater Sanford, FL area. Schools in this region are seeking dedicated, contract Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) for immediate and upcoming needs for the 2026-2027 school year. Opportunities are available for both experienced providers and recent graduates (CFs), with supportive supervision provided for those starting their SLP careers.
Positions include a variety of options based on your interests and availability:
- Maternity leave coverage at multiple elementary and secondary schools with assignments ranging from 2 to 5 days per week
- Roles working with diverse student populations, including positions supporting severe-profound needs and augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) users
Desired Qualifications:
- Active Florida SLP license (CCC preferred; CFs considered)
- Prior school-based experience is beneficial
- Strong skills working with severe-profound and AAC populations
- In-person availability (no virtual positions)
- SLPAs not accepted
In these roles, youll:
- Assess, diagnose, and provide therapy for students with speech and language disorders
- Develop, write, and implement IEP goals in collaboration with IEP teams
- Maintain accurate and timely student records and communication
- Collaborate with classroom teachers, families, and other school staff
- Participate in team meetings and ongoing professional development
These contract positions offer a consistent full-time schedule of 37.5 hours per week, beginning August 2026 through May 2027. Youll enjoy the satisfaction of helping students reach their highest potential as you build valuable experience in a supportive school environment.
