Job Description

Seeking detail-oriented and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) to provide vital services to students in dynamic school environments near Sanford, FL. Multiple contract positions are available for the upcoming academic year, with opportunities to support students across elementary, middle, and high school settings. Supervision is provided for Clinical Fellows (CFs); we cannot accept SLPAs or virtual candidates at this time.

You will address a range of communicative needs, including severe-profound populations and students utilizing AAC devices. Flexible assignments are available, with both full-time and part-time roles at several locations.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Current Florida SLP license (required)
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellow (CF) status
  • Recent experience with school-aged speech-language caseloads
  • Strong background working with severe-profound disability populations
  • Competency in supporting students using augmentative and alternative communication (AAC)
  • Excellent collaborative, documentation, and communication skills

Positions & Availability:

  • Maternity leave cover (September December) at elementary school, 5 days/week
  • Full school-year openings at elementary, middle, and high schools (35 days/week)
  • Immediate needs in Daytona Beach, Orange City, Lake Helen, DeBary, and Pierson, FL
  • Schedule: 37.5 hours/week, school-based calendar (August 4, 2026May 28, 2027)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and develop individualized speech and language interventions
  • Deliver direct and consultative SLP services within the school setting
  • Document progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with district policies
  • Collaborate closely with educators, paraprofessionals, and families to optimize student outcomes
  • Adapt therapy techniques to support functional communication, academic achievement, and social participation
