Job Description
Make a meaningful difference in the lives of students as a contract Speech-Language Pathologist for the upcoming 2026/2027 school year in the Sandia Park, NM area. This is an excellent opportunity for passionate SLPs (CCC required) who enjoy working in dynamic school environments and are open to serving a diverse student population.
We're seeking 2-3 providers, with multiple full-time roles available across elementary and early childhood sites. While some specific caseload details are pending district finalization, you'll always have the support and clarity you need as details become available.
Current openings include:
- Full-time opportunity supporting overflow needs at a local elementary school.
- Full-time site-based role at either of two nearby elementary schoolsexact assignment to be confirmed.
- Specialized opening serving Child Find and Pre-K populations at an early childhood center.
Desired Qualifications:
- Hold a valid SLP license, plus CCC credentials.
- Schools-based SLP experience strongly preferred.
- Knowledge of IEP development, student evaluation, and collaborative service planning.
- Current PED copy must be included with your application.
- Adaptable and organized with a positive, student-focused approach.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language services in accordance with student IEPs.
- Complete evaluations, assessments, and accurate documentation.
- Collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary support teams.
- Engage in activities/youth communication tailored to each educational setting and unique student needs.
