Qualifications and Experience:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active, valid state licensure (or eligibility to obtain) as an SLP
- Certification of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Previous experience working in school-based settings strongly desired
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency writing and implementing IEPs, and utilizing a range of therapy techniques
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and diagnose speech, language, voice, or fluency disorders in students
- Develop and execute individualized therapy plans
- Document progress and maintain student records in accordance with school policies
- Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to support each student
- Deliver services individually and/or in groups per student needs
- Attend and contribute to IEP meetings
- Provide resources and education to staff and families to reinforce strategies
