Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students from pre-kindergarten through 8th grade. We're seeking dedicated Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) for the 26/27 academic year to work full-time in a lively educational environment. Bilingual Spanish-speaking candidates are highly desirable, as you will provide critical language support and help foster a culture of inclusion and communication.
Experience firsthand the satisfaction of helping diverse learners succeed in a school-based setting. With multiple positions available and a single school assignment, you can focus your passion and expertise on making a lasting impact. Workdays are Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 4:00pm.
Desired Qualifications:
- Current SLP licensure in California with Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- Experience in educational settings, preferably with prek-8th grade students
- Strong collaboration skills to engage with teachers, administrators, and families
- Bilingual proficiency in Spanish highly preferred
- Commitment to fostering a positive environment and advancing student communication skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and consultative speech-language therapy services for diverse learners
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans consistent with IEP goals
- Assess, diagnose, and document students speech, language, and communication needs
- Participate in team meetings, providing expertise on student progress and intervention strategies
- Communicate effectively with families, advocating for the best outcomes for each student
