Step into a rewarding contract opportunity serving schools in the vibrant San Francisco area! We are seeking dedicated Speech Language Pathologists (SLPs) to provide essential speech and language services throughout the district from August 11, 2026, to June 2, 2027. With 35 positions available, theres a place for both seasoned professionals and Clinical Fellows (CFs)supervision will be provided for those building site-specific openings.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Valid Speech Language Pathologist license from the California Department of Consumer Affairs (DCA)
- Active CA Pupil Personnel Services credential in SLP Services
- Preferred: Fluency in additional languages to best support a diverse student population
- Strong clinical, assessment, and case management skills in school settings
- Commitment to on-site service delivery (remote work is not available for this role)
- Open to travel professionals seeking new experiences
- Willingness to support students ranging from early childhood through transition age
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and provide therapeutic interventions for students with diverse speech and language needs
- Collaborate with educators, psychologists, administrators, and parents to develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs)
- Maintain precise documentation and follow district-mandated protocols
- Participate in team meetings, provide consultative support, and communicate effectively with families and multidisciplinary staff
- Mentor and support Clinical Fellows, fostering professional growth within the school environment
