Make a meaningful difference in the lives of students as you provide professional speech-language therapy services on a contract basis. Engaging with a diverse student population, youll use your expertise to assess communication disorders, develop intervention plans, and foster growth and confidence in your clients.
Desired Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Current and valid SLP license for the state of Texas
- Previous experience working in K-12 educational settings preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and school staff
- Familiarity with IEPs and related documentation processes
- Ability to deliver both individual and small group therapy sessions
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and speech-language evaluations
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans targeting students specific needs
- Collaborate with educators and parents to design effective intervention strategies
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of student goals
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date progress reports, records, and documentation
- Provide recommendations for classroom accommodations and supports
