Job Description

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • State licensure (or eligibility) as an SLP
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA preferred
  • Previous experience in a school environment is highly desirable
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments to diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students
  • Provide direct speech and language therapy to students, both individually and in groups
  • Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and parents to monitor progress and adjust strategies as needed
  • Maintain accurate records of evaluations, sessions, and student progress
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student support planning
  • Deliver engaging, evidence-based interventions in a supportive school environment
