Enhance the educational experience for students by providing exceptional speech-language services throughout the upcoming academic year. You'll collaborate closely with students, families, and school staff, helping learners overcome communication barriers and reach their full academic potential. This rewarding opportunity, based near New Braunfels, TX, runs for the entire 2026-2027 school year and offers a supportive, professional environment for both experienced SLPs and those completing their Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY).
What You'll Bring:
- Valid Texas Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license (required)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- Prior experience working in school settings or with pediatric populations preferred
- Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
- Passion for supporting students communication and academic growth
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
- Conduct screenings, evaluations, and diagnostics to assess speech, language, and communication needs of students
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
- Deliver direct therapy services to individuals and small groups
- Maintain accurate records, document progress, and participate in ARD/IEP meetings
- Provide consultation and training for teachers and families to support student success
- Participate in professional development and remain current with best practices in speech-language therapy
