A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available at three middle schools in San Marcos, CA, offering an excellent opportunity to provide essential speech therapy services onsite. This contract role is focused on covering a maternity leave from October through mid-December, supporting students during a critical academic period.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive speech-language pathology services to middle school students
- Conduct assessments, develop therapy plans, and implement individualized treatment
- Collaborate with educators and healthcare professionals to support student progress
- Maintain detailed documentation and progress reports in compliance with school policies
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid California SLP license required
- Experience working in school settings, particularly with middle school students
- Expertise in pediatric speech therapy and familiarity with teletherapy methods a plus
- Ability to manage caseload efficiently while maintaining high-quality care
- Candidates with CCC certification or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) experience are preferred
