Job Description

A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available with a contract for the 2025-2026 school year serving students from kindergarten through 12th grade. This position provides services across several locations in California, including Arroyo Grande, Pismo Beach, Santa Maria, and Edna.

Key Qualifications and Experience:

  • Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Experience in healthcare and pediatric speech-language pathology
  • Completed Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
  • Familiarity with school-based SLP roles and responsibilities
  • Valid California Speech-Language Pathology license or California Commission on Teacher Credentialing (CTC) credential

Location: This role supports K-12 students in multiple school communities within San Luis Obispo County, including Arroyo Grande, Pismo Beach, Santa Maria, and Edna, California.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments to identify students needs
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to K-12 students
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and healthcare professionals to support student progress
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation compliant with district and state guidelines
  • Provide direct therapy and consultative services in various educational settings
