Job Description
Step into a rewarding contract opportunity providing speech-language pathology services within a collaborative educational setting. This full-time role begins August 2026 and runs through June 2027, offering you the chance to make a significant impact on student growth and achievement.
Preferred candidates are those with SLP experience in California, especially those who are bilingual in Spanish. Youll play a key part in delivering both direct services and comprehensive assessments to students, collaborating with staff and families. School sites and caseloads are to be determined, with anticipated openings for multiple professionals.
Desired Qualifications:
- Current, active California SLP license
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Previous experience in a school-based SLP setting, ideally within California
- Bilingual in Spanish is highly preferred
- Strong assessment and intervention skills
- Exceptional communication and organizational abilities
- Willingness to work onsite
Your Responsibilities:
- Provide direct SLP services to students as outlined in IEPs
- Conduct evaluations and ongoing assessments to identify student needs
- Generate detailed reports and participate in IEP meetings
- Collaborate closely with educators, support staff, and families
- Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with state and district guidelines
- Serve multiple school sites as needed
