Job Description
A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available at a school in San Jose, CA, starting as soon as possible through the end of the school year. This onsite contract role focuses on providing both direct and indirect therapy services to students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech and language therapy to students according to individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Provide indirect services such as consultation, collaboration, and documentation to support student progress
- Conduct evaluations and assessments as needed
- Maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with educators, families, and team members
Desired Qualifications and Experience:
- Experience working as an SLP in educational settings, including pediatrics and healthcare environments
- Familiarity with Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) procedures
- Skills in teletherapy are a plus but not required for this onsite role
- Strong understanding of speech-language development and intervention strategies for school-age children
- Credentialed and licensed as required to practice in California
