An exciting contract opportunity is available located near San Joaquin, CA for the upcoming 2026-2027 school year. This full-time role offers flexibilitywork onsite, or discuss hybrid options directly with the district. Qualifications & Desirable Experience:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid Speech-Language Pathology license for California
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Prior experience working in school settings preferred
- Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to adapt and collaborate with diverse student populations
- Willingness to work onsite or discuss hybrid arrangements as needed
Role Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language assessments to identify student needs
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in conjunction with multidisciplinary teams
- Deliver evidence-based therapies and interventions, both individually and in group settings
- Consult regularly with teachers, specialists, and parents to support student progress
- Maintain accurate and timely records of evaluations, progress, and services
- Contribute to IEP meetings and provide input on student programs
- Stay current on best practices and school compliance standards
