Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) K12

Location: San Francisco, CA
Job Type: Full-Time (Part-Time Considered)
Start Date: 2026-2027 School Year

About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support students in grades K12 across schools in the San Francisco area. This role is ideal for a professional who is passionate about helping students develop essential communication skills to succeed academically and socially.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct speech, language, and communication evaluations for students (K12)
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with IEP goals
  • Provide direct therapy services in individual and group settings
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Maintain accurate documentation, reports, and progress notes
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student success planning
  • Monitor and track student progress and adjust interventions as needed
  • Ensure compliance with state and federal special education regulations

Qualifications

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
  • Active California SLP license (or eligibility)
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred (CFs welcome to apply)
  • Experience working with school-aged children (preferred)
  • Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills

Preferred Experience

  • Familiarity with IEP development and implementation
  • Experience with diverse student populations, including multilingual learners
  • Knowledge of AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication) tools

Compensation for this position ranges from $45.00 to $95.00. Eligible candidates may also receive healthcare benefits, housing, and meals/incidentals.
