Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) K12
Location: San Francisco, CA
Job Type: Full-Time (Part-Time Considered)
Start Date: 2026-2027 School Year
About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support students in grades K12 across schools in the San Francisco area. This role is ideal for a professional who is passionate about helping students develop essential communication skills to succeed academically and socially.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct speech, language, and communication evaluations for students (K12)
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with IEP goals
- Provide direct therapy services in individual and group settings
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
- Maintain accurate documentation, reports, and progress notes
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student success planning
- Monitor and track student progress and adjust interventions as needed
- Ensure compliance with state and federal special education regulations
Qualifications
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Active California SLP license (or eligibility)
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred (CFs welcome to apply)
- Experience working with school-aged children (preferred)
- Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
Preferred Experience
- Familiarity with IEP development and implementation
- Experience with diverse student populations, including multilingual learners
- Knowledge of AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication) tools
