Key Qualifications & Experience:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Valid and active state licensure as an SLP
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA preferred
- Previous experience working with children or adolescents in a school or pediatric setting
- Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and document progress effectively
Responsibilities Include:
- Provide speech, language, voice, and fluency therapy to students as prescribed in IEPs
- Conduct screenings, evaluations, and re-evaluations to inform service delivery
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress
- Maintain accurate records of student evaluations, services, and outcomes
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise to the development of goals and accommodations
- Offer consultation and training to teachers and support staff regarding communication strategies
- Stay current with evidence-based practices in speech-language pathology
