Job Description
A Speech Language Pathologist opportunity is available for the upcoming 2026/2027 school year, working three days per week with an elementary caseload in San Francisco, CA. This contract position focuses on providing essential speech and language support to young learners, playing a vital role in their communication development and academic success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in elementary students
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each students needs
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports
- Deliver services in a school setting, ensuring a supportive learning environment
Qualifications:
- Valid Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) license in California
- Experience working with pediatric populations in schools, preferably with elementary students
- Familiarity with teletherapy is beneficial but not required
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage students and colleagues effectively
- Ability to manage caseload and prioritize responsibilities efficiently
