Job Description

A certified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed to provide essential services within a K-12 school setting in San Francisco, CA. This contract role starts ASAP and likely continues through the end of February. The position requires onsite work at two school sitesan elementary and a middle schoolwith a caseload capacity currently at 48 students, potentially rising to 55.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive speech-language therapy services to students in grades K-12
  • Manage and monitor a caseload of up to 55 students, addressing a variety of speech and language disorders
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Maintain accurate documentation of therapy sessions and student progress in compliance with state regulations
  • Participate in ongoing professional development and training opportunities

Qualifications:

  • California state licensure for Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) is required
  • Valid SLP certifications including SLP - CFY, and/or SLP - CCC preferred
  • Experience working in K-12 educational settings is highly valued
  • Ability to work independently while engaging collaboratively with school staff
  • Strong organizational and communication skills are essential

Work Schedule and Location:

  • Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM (40 hours per week)
  • Fully onsite at two school locations within San Francisco
