Key Qualifications & Experience:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders.
- Current and valid state licensure or eligibility as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA preferred; strong CFY applicants considered.
- Previous experience in K-12 public school settings is preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with educators, families, and administrators.
- Strong organizational abilities and commitment to timely documentation.
Core Responsibilities:
- Provide screening, assessment, and diagnosis for students with speech, language, voice, or fluency disorders.
- Develop and implement individualized education program (IEP) speech therapy goals tailored to each students needs.
- Deliver engaging therapy sessionsin-person or virtuallyto support communication and academic success.
- Consult with teachers and parents, supporting them in strategies to carry over progress outside sessions.
- Maintain detailed and accurate records of student progress, treatment plans, and compliance with state and federal guidelines.
- Participate in IEP meetings and offer professional insights on students speech and language development.
