Key Qualifications & Experience:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders.
  • Current and valid state licensure or eligibility as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA preferred; strong CFY applicants considered.
  • Previous experience in K-12 public school settings is preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with educators, families, and administrators.
  • Strong organizational abilities and commitment to timely documentation.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Provide screening, assessment, and diagnosis for students with speech, language, voice, or fluency disorders.
  • Develop and implement individualized education program (IEP) speech therapy goals tailored to each students needs.
  • Deliver engaging therapy sessionsin-person or virtuallyto support communication and academic success.
  • Consult with teachers and parents, supporting them in strategies to carry over progress outside sessions.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of student progress, treatment plans, and compliance with state and federal guidelines.
  • Participate in IEP meetings and offer professional insights on students speech and language development.
