Job Description

Essential Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Valid SLP license or eligibility for licensure in California
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; Clinical Fellows (CFs) also considered
  • Previous experience working with school-aged children or within an educational setting is valuable
  • Strong assessment, therapy planning, and progress monitoring skills
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication abilities
  • Comfort with collaborative, multi-disciplinary team environments

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough assessments of students with speech, language, and communication disorders
  • Develop individualized treatment plans that support academic and functional success
  • Deliver individual and group therapy sessions according to students IEPs
  • Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to create a positive, inclusive environment
  • Participate in IEP meetings, contributing assessment findings and therapy recommendations
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services rendered, progress, and outcomes
  • Provide consultation services and professional guidance to school staff as needed
