Skills & Qualifications:
- Active Texas Speech Language Pathologist License required
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) preferred
- Experience within school settings, especially supporting elementary to middle school students
- Excellent communication, assessment, and problem-solving skills
- Flexibility and adaptability to new environments and caseloads
Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech and language therapy services to students in elementary and middle school settings
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Conduct assessments and document progress on student goals
- Provide counseling and support to students and families as needed
- Maintain thorough compliance with state and federal education regulations
