Qualifications & Experience Sought:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders from an accredited program
- Valid State SLP license (or eligibility for licensure)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred; accepting Clinical Fellows (CFs) with strong skills
- Previous school-based or pediatric experience is helpful, but motivated candidates from clinical backgrounds will be considered
- Familiarity with IEP process, evaluation procedures, and evidence-based therapeutic interventions
- Compassionate, organized, and effective communicator with students, families, and multi-disciplinary staff
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide screening, assessment, and diagnosis for speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
- Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to student needs
- Deliver direct and consultative therapy services in classroom and pull-out settings
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and allied professionals to advance student progress
- Maintain comprehensive and compliant documentation, progress reporting, and data collection
- Participate in IEP meetings, ongoing professional development, and school initiatives
