Desired Background & Experience:

• Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Active Texas SLP license (or eligibility to obtain)
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; clinical fellows also considered
• Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric setting strongly desired
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
• Ability to adapt therapy techniques to diverse student populations and learning needs

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and deliver therapy to students with speech, language, and communication challenges
• Collaborate closely with teachers, special education staff, and parents to support students progress
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in compliance with state and federal guidelines
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute professional insights to guide interventions
• Provide training, consultation, and resources to staff and families as needed
• Monitor student progress and adjust therapy strategies to maximize outcomes
