Desired Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Valid license to practice as an SLP in Texas
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or eligibility considered
- Recent experience providing speech services within a school environment preferred
- Strong communication skills for building positive relationships with students, staff, and families
- Ability to effectively manage caseloads and adhere to timelines
- Familiarity with individualized education programs (IEPs) and relevant documentation
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and provide direct therapy to students with a variety of communication disorders
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in coordination with multidisciplinary teams
- Monitor and document student progress, maintaining all required records
- Participate actively in IEP meetings and contribute to educational planning
- Offer consultative support and training to teachers and parents as needed
- Adapt therapy methods and materials to meet diverse student needs and learning environments
- Uphold confidentiality and the ethical standards of the profession
