Key Qualifications & Experience:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid state licensure (or eligibility) as an SLP
- Experience in a school setting is highly desirable
- Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to design and implement individualized therapy plans
- Proficiency with assessment tools and documenting progress
- Compassion, patience, and enthusiasm for working with children of all abilities
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with teachers and parents
- Provide direct therapy services to students in both individual and small group settings
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of student progress
- Consult with educational staff and families to support student growth
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary teams
- Support classroom teachers with strategies and accommodations that foster student success
