This contract opportunity calls for a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist to collaborate with a dynamic team and help students reach their full potential. Serving a full-time caseload, youll provide assessment, intervention, and consultative services in a supportive school environment. The position emphasizes strong clinical skills and welcomes bilingual candidates, though this is not a mandatory requirement.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current state SLP license (ASHA CCC-SLP preferred)
- Previous experience in a school-based SLP role is highly desirable
- Strong evaluation, diagnostic, and documentation skills
- Bilingual English-Spanish abilities are an asset but not required
- Excellent communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
Core Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations for students
- Develop and implement individualized intervention plans addressing a range of communication needs
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student IEP goals
- Maintain detailed and timely documentation in compliance with district, state, and federal guidelines
- Serve as a resource for staff and families regarding speech-language services
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to positive student outcomes
