Step into a rewarding contract opportunity serving students across 2-3 schools, with most of your caseload focused on elementary-aged children. Youll play a crucial role in helping young learners achieve their speech, language, and communication goals in a district widely known for its nurturing, collegial environment and supportive leadership.
Your expertise will be put to use as you conduct evaluations, develop individualized treatment plans with both short- and long-term objectives, deliver direct speech-language therapy services, and collaborate in IEP meetings. Qualifications:
- Active South Carolina SLP license and teaching certification required
- CCC-SLP (Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology) required
- Experience with pediatric and school-based caseloads; CFYs considered
- Passion for working with elementary students
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
Responsibilities:
- Complete comprehensive speech/language evaluations for students
- Develop and implement individualized treatment programs
- Deliver targeted therapy, addressing a range of communication disorders
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation
- Engage in multidisciplinary collaboration, including IEP meetings
- Foster positive relationships with students, families, and staff
