Job Description

Unlock a rewarding opportunity as a Speech-Language Pathologist serving students across a vibrant school district near Salisbury, North Carolina. This contract role begins in August and provides the chance to make a meaningful impact throughout the 2026-2027 school year. The district is seeking four dedicated SLPs (including SLP-CFs; supervision provided). You'll support students in the east and southern parts of the district, working with diverse caseloads in a collaborative environment.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Hold a current Speech-Language Pathology license in North Carolina
  • SLP-CCC or Clinical Fellowship accepted (district provides supervision for CFs)
  • Prior experience with school-age students, especially those with autism spectrum disorder (AU) and low cognitive disabilities, preferred
  • Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills
  • SLPAs are not being considered at this time

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct and consultative speech-language therapy services to K-12 students, up to 35 students per caseload
  • Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans
  • Collaborate with educators, school teams, and families to support student success
  • Maintain detailed and timely documentation compliant with district and state requirements
  • Actively participate in IEP meetings, professional development, and supervision as needed
