Job Description

Bring your talent and passion for speech-language pathology to North Carolina! Skilled professionals are invited to join a dedicated team supporting students across the eastern and southern areas of a vibrant district for the upcoming school year. This opportunity is available to fully credentialed Speech-Language Pathologists as well as Clinical Fellows (SLP-CF), with district supervision available. Please note, SLPA licensure is not accepted for this assignment.

Key Qualifications:

  • Must hold (or be eligible for) an SLP license in North Carolina
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred, but strong Clinical Fellows may be considered
  • Experience working in school settings, especially with students with Autism (AU) or low cognitive disabilities, is strongly desired
  • Ability to manage a caseload of up to 35 students
  • Exceptional communication, organization, and documentation skills

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive speech-language therapy to students from diverse backgrounds
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments, develop IEPs, and participate in eligibility meetings
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and IEP teams to maximize student success
  • Provide both direct and consultative services and support to students and school staff
  • Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as needed
  • Maintain accurate and current documentation in compliance with district and legal standards
