Make a meaningful impact in the lives of students as a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist in a school setting. This contract opportunity offers you the chance to work directly with 4th12th grade students, supporting their communication needs and helping them reach their academic potential. Youll collaborate closely with educational teams and families to deliver targeted speech and language interventions on-site within a supportive and inclusive environment.
What Were Looking For:
- Active North Carolina SLP License (verification required)
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- NC Department of Public Instruction G License required
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Recent experience with ECATS is essential
- Background or proficiency in Infinite Campus is a plus
- School-based SLP experience highly desired
- Comfortable working with a caseload of approximately 4045 students in grades 4 through 12
- Must be available for on-site work only (no teletherapy or SLPAs for this assignment)
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and implement interventions for students with speech and language challenges
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to support student progress
- Maintain accurate records and compliance through use of ECATS and Infinite Campus
- Provide progress updates and participate in IEP meetings as needed
- Cultivate a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment
Position Details:
- Contract runs ASAP through June 9, 2026
- Schedule: MondayFriday, 2530 hours per week
- All work performed on-site (specific site assigned upon placement)
- Caseload of students from grades 4 through 12
