Key Qualifications:
- Current state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Experience or strong interest in working with pediatric populations
- Background in early childhood, Pre-K, elementary, middle, and high school settings
- Familiarity with a variety of communication disorders and intervention techniques
- Ability to develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Organizational skills for managing documentation and scheduling
- Commitment to cultural competence and inclusivity
- Team-oriented approach with flexibility to adapt to diverse learning needs
Role Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and provide direct therapy for students with speech, language, voice, and fluency impairments
- Design individualized and group treatment plans aligning with students needs
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and allied professionals to foster positive student outcomes
- Participate in IEP meetings, documenting progress and making data-driven recommendations
- Provide consultation and resources to classroom staff for successful carryover of skills
- Maintain up-to-date records in compliance with school and state requirements
- Support transitions for students moving between grade levels or programs
