Job Description

A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available in Salinas, CA, providing direct and indirect therapy services within a school setting. This onsite, contract role is ideal for a motivated professional specializing in pediatric speech-language pathology, including Candidates in their Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) and those experienced with teletherapy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct speech-language therapy to students in need
  • Provide indirect therapy services, including consultation and collaboration with educational staff
  • Utilize expertise in pediatric speech-language pathology to assess, plan, and implement individualized treatment plans
  • Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports
  • Adapt services as needed to meet students evolving needs throughout the school year

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Valid certification or licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
  • Experience in school-based SLP services or a strong interest in this setting
  • Familiarity with teletherapy techniques is preferred but not mandatory
  • Ability to work with pediatric populations effectively
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Location and Duration:

  • Position is located onsite in Salinas, CA
  • Contract from ASAP through the end of the current school year
