Job Description

Step into a rewarding role supporting students across a variety of grade levels, from early childhood through high school, as a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist. In this contract opportunity, you will play a key role in helping children and adolescents build their communication skills, ensuring they reach their fullest academic and social potential.

Key Qualifications & Experience:

  • Hold current certification and licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
  • Demonstrated experience or training working with pediatric populations in a school environment.
  • Familiarity with early childhood, elementary, middle, and high school settings.
  • Skilled at designing interventions for students from Pre-K through Grade 12.
  • Strong ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and support staff.
  • Committed to providing compassionate, individualized care and evidence-based therapy.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough assessments to identify students speech and language needs.
  • Develop and implement therapy plans tailored to individual educational goals.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and participate in eligibility meetings.
  • Deliver engaging therapy sessions for individuals and small groups.
  • Monitor progress, maintain accurate documentation, and adjust strategies as needed.
  • Provide guidance and resources for teachers and families to support students growth.
