Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and student evaluations within the high school setting.
• Develop, write, and update Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) to support student growth.

• Deliver direct, evidence-based speech therapy to students with diverse communication needs.
• Communicate progress and strategies clearly to staff, students, and families, supporting all stakeholders.
• Uphold the highest standard of professional and ethical practice in compliance with school and state guidelines.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Active Virginia Speech Language Pathologist license.
• Demonstrated experience with high school-aged students is preferred, but all SLP backgrounds are welcome.
• Strong organizational, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Ability to document interventions and student progress thoroughly and efficiently.
• Comfortable working independently as well as part of a dynamic multidisciplinary team.
