As an integral member of the special services team, you will assess, diagnose, and provide targeted therapy for students with speech, language, voice, or fluency disorders. Collaborate with educators, families, and other specialists to create and implement individualized plans designed to maximize student success in the classroom.
Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Current state licensure or eligibility as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, but Clinical Fellows are welcome to apply
- Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting is highly valued
- Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
- Commitment to fostering positive educational outcomes for diverse student populations
Responsibilities:
- Screen, assess, and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Deliver engaging therapy sessions, both individually and in groups
- Consult with educators and parents to support student progress
- Maintain accurate documentation of evaluations, reports, and progress
- Attend IEP meetings and contribute expertise to multidisciplinary teams
